May 20-June 3, 2025: As the academic year comes to a close, the newest STFers at International School of Prague, Spring Lake Park, and Wauwatosa East high schools created powerful displays to raise awareness about genocide and collected petition signatures to uphold the rights of the unhoused.

May 20- June 3, 2025: STFers from Spring Lake Park HS invited students to anonymously share how they, their loved ones, or ancestors have been impacted by genocide. These powerful testimonies became part of a moving genocide awareness storyboard, featuring both artwork and personal stories. To deepen the impact, STFers also created a pledge for students and staff to sign, outlining intentional steps to honor Genocide Awareness and Prevention Month. Photo by Madalyn Y.

May 27-30, 2025: Wauwatosa East STFers continued their advocacy for the Protect the Unhoused Action Plan by collecting petition signatures urging Mayor Dennis McBride to repeal harmful laws that directly target and criminalize unhoused individuals. Their efforts sparked important conversations on campus and led to the collection of 200+ petition signatures in support of their unhoused neighbors. Photo by Maria S.
